Life Changed... And Here I Am

If you'd told me 10 weeks ago that I'd be building a campervan, growing a YouTube channel, preparing to move to the Lake District and documenting it all online, I probably wouldn't have believed you.

At the time, life looked very different.

Like a lot of people, I had a plan. I thought I knew where I was heading and what the next few years would look like. Then life threw me a curveball and suddenly that plan disappeared.

For a while I felt lost. I wasn't sleeping properly, wasn't eating properly and honestly didn't know what was to come next.

But instead of sitting still, I decided to start building.

At first it was just a van, a work van I'd originally bought for a completely different purpose. But as life changed, so did the plan. What started as a project slowly became something much bigger.

Every day I learned something new.

• How to insulate a van.

• How to fit windows.

• How to build furniture.

• How to solve problems when things didn't go to plan.

• How to keep moving forward even when I doubted myself.

Now, after weeks of work, that empty van is becoming a home. Not because I knew how to build it from the start, but because I was willing to figure it out one step at a time.

In the next few weeks I'll be moving into the van and heading to the Lake District to see where this journey takes me.

Will everything go perfectly?

• Probably not.

Will there be challenges?

• Definitely.

But that's all part of the adventure.

This page and YouTube channel exist to document the journey as it happens. The wins, the mistakes, the lessons and everything in between.

If there's one thing I've learned recently, it's this:

You don't always get the life you planned.

Sometimes life changes.

But here we are.

So here's to taking chances, learning new skills, meeting new people and seeing what happens next.

Let's see where the road leads.
